The Work Continues

Come on in, take a look around as the progress continues. This shot is just as you walk in the front door, looking back toward the kitchen. The ladder is um, yes, where the stairs used to be. They no longer fit when we redesigned the upstairs in an effort to score an additional bathroom. We were however able to find someone in the neighborhood that was willing to reuse them. They just came in, detached it from the wall, wrapped it up all in one piece, then swiftly slipped it out the door. Voila





















The fabulous new steel beam which allowed us to open up the main floor and restore support throughout the house.


And a look out back where the mason has repaired some major damage. It's looking a lot better from when we started!
